This is ____ ON AI

IBM’s sports entertainment partnership portfolio includes some of the world’s biggest championships. For each, IBM works closely with organizers to design custom, AI-powered technology that enhances the fan experience. My team was tasked with imagining a new platform that would serve as the creative framework for these innovations. “This is _______ on AI” became a conversational way to explain the benefits of complex AI technology to fans and demonstrated how IBM lets them interact with their favorite sports like never before.

 

The US OPen

The US Open was where we premiered “This is ______ on AI.” There, IBM used watsonx and Granite AI models to instantly transform millions of data points into recaps of every singles match, offering fans coverage of every pro for the first time ever. We did a takeover at Arthur Ashe Stadium, with bespoke animations that depicted match reports’ assembly in a visually arresting way. Other artwork included print pieces within the program and C-suite, a radio spot and an IBM.com reskin.
